Thread:

I'm looking at SuperCharts 4.0 to augment my present rudimentary TA program, and I have some very specific criteria to apply. I'm sure SC will handle my indicators after I download the symbols, but I also want a program that will screen stocks for characteristics before I download them (otherwise I'd be overwhelmed by data). For instance, let's say I wish to download ALL stocks meeting these and only these criteria:

1. Listed NASDAQ issue;
2. Average volume of at least 100K shares a day;
3. Priced above $30;
4. Average spread 1/4 or less.

Can SuperCharts do this? If not, can TradeStation?

Thanks in advance for responses.

RS

Thanks Ken, I am trying to find a way to add or remove large no. of symbols to custom list rather than one at a time. This I am sure can be done with some other SW. please see below as an example:

"
...to create the list for Q+ is no pain at all.
Just select the text in my post, copy it to the
clipboard and paste it into Notepad. Save it as
a text file, e.g. IBD.txt. If you want to open it
in Q+, select "show all files" instead of "*.lst".
If you want, you can save it as a *.lst from Q+.
Should not take more than 30 seconds."

thanks again,ST
