why would anyone want to pay the outrageous cost for a *genuine* Iomega Zip disk when we can exercise our rights as
consumers with a choice and buy Nomai disks for... oh, wait a sec,
the Iomega disks are LESS EXPENSIVE than the Nomai disks and they
tend to not trash the drive. Hrrrmmm....

Oh wait, they're Sony disks, maybe Sony is dumping them because of
their HiFD... oh wait a sec, it doesn't work yet. Hrrmmm...

I wonder why Rock is so adamant about consumers having a choice in
disk suppliers for the antiquated inferior technology Iomega offers.
You'd think he'd be against the proliferation of junk. Maybe Quayle
was talking about him when he bumbled "What a terrible thing it is to lose one's mind or to never to have had one at all."

>>CompUSA in today's Sunday insert advertised:
Notebook Zip
Jazz2
6 Sony Zip disks for $41,(less than $7 ea)w/ mail-in $10 rebate.<<

Alan -

Seven bucks apiece for Zip disks? Hmmm. Less than Nomai's XHD disks, even if purchased by the thousand.

What I thought was funny about Nomai's recent statements was that they said, "These things cost next to nothing to make," yet they're going to charge more than 8 bucks apiece for them. Yes, it's easy to see that Nomai is the champion of the consumer.

Imagine anyone being stupid enough to imagine that Nomai isn't just in it for the money and couldn't care less for the consumer.
