AND we can vote them out if we don't like them. This isn't a dictatorship... yet. The right wants an anarchic government where elections don't matter. *"the government"* What does that mean exactly? Everyone in government? If its not all the millions of people going to work everyday in government... which people exactly? I watch a lot of commercials on TV where they're trying to scare me... like Identity Theft companies. Aren't corporations trying to spread fear and lies? There are a lot of people on commercials who eat junk food and don't exercise. Aren't the drug companies trying go get people to take drugs instead of practice healthy lifestyles. What I would like is limited government. Rational government. Government only where it makes sense, and private business where it makes sense. I want a socialist Military not a Wagner Group. I want private supermarkets. In some cases like schools I want a hybrid government. Government funding to make sure every kid gets the same chance, but I want private citizens to administer them so parents can hire and fire them.
