[off topic, sort of. . .] Pigboy -- There's the local area and then there's the wide area, and what's right for one isn't necessarily right for the other, right? In other words, not so long ago everyone was talking about ATM to the desktop and now they aren't. As for Nuera's FRADs, what do they have that others don't and why would they be winning awards if they weren't doing something right? Questions that float from the edge to the core of my brain. I think of CrossKeys' TDM solutions and know they beat out almost every in-house solution available today. So I don't rule out the little guys just because they don't have monstrous names like Ascend, Cisco, Newbridge, and so on. You see where I'm going. . . If someone's got something special, someone else will want it. . . Who am I? Why am I here? And where am I going? Later -- Pat BTW, how long can it take to bring home Roberto's???? Kids left 45 minutes ago and still aren't back. :)
