Wharfie, calling for an "emergency" is a political matter, not science. We locked down the nation because emergency rooms were filling up due to COVID. Over one million Americans died during the pandemic. I don't see ANY emergency rooms filling up due to that climate changey thingy. "But but Maui! But but Paradise!" Sure, let's tell 8 billion people on Earth to go back to the pre-Industrial era just to prevent Maui and Paradise from burning down. There is no global emergency.
