To all, Fred Hickey's comments are in Barron's market watch section p.44 ."I expect the first Q earnings reports will be a disaster, and will catch the bulls absolutely, totally, fully invested" I agree with his comment that" the asian crisis was not (nor will it be- my words) solved by some IMF promises of funding, nor by bottom-fishing buying of stocks by foreign investors. we're talking about an economic depression(now you're talking) that's affecting what was the fastest growing part of the world. (remember all the U.S. goods that the bulls told us we would sell in that region-my words) the effects are already spreading to other areas, including Brazil,Russia and even Canada. The PC market is already a mess, with lower unit growth and price wars. It will be mess, and the tech bulls will be rocked by disappointment." Mike
