<<you look for more "favorable news" to help the stock>>

I am wondering what favorable news the longs think will be forthcoming that isn't already factored into the price? I am taking it as a given that production will increase with the new plant, that the new plant will get whatever approval is necessary, and that MUSE will be approved for sale in Europe.I would think that anybody looking at VVUS would already assume that those events will take place, so what surprise is going to propel it higher, at least in the next 6-12 months? Failure of Viagra to get FDA approval? A dismal response rate once Viagra gets out of clinical trials and into real world use? Both those things could happen but basing an investment strategy on them sounds like a crapshoot.
