Zeuspaul,

I"m using Communicator 4.03 on a Macintosh. A similar release of Gold crashed for me. I use IE at the same time I use Netscape, but for different stuff. It remembers passwords, which is nice. I use it for a couple of my online brokers and I use Netscape for my real time quote service, charts and quoting, and for SI and Yahoo. I find if I burden these programs with too many open windows at once, they become unstable. Memory management fails, especially IE. So I keep it open, but just for brokerage service, and some stock research.

I'll see if there is a more current version of Netscape Communicator for the Mac. It's possible they didn't give the Mac version the capability to do the keyboard commands, but the Mac historically always provided both options, even though it's known for its mousing around. I wonder if there's a plug in I need? I've been derelict about accumulating Netscape plug-ins.

Am I ussing Navigation? I'm not sure I know, but I hnpe so. :-) Oh, you mean SI's Navigation! Usually, because the PowerBook screen is wider and allows me to see the full width of the messages with the Navigation menu up. Now, I'm not using it.

Linda

Zeuspaul,

If SI would write the Forward Arrow and Back Arrow keys into the Next and Previous buttons that might work cross-platform regardless of the browser, don't you think?
