A club championship is done in front of people. It’s the top event of the year at most clubs. His competitors, the pro staff, the workers and members witness it. It’s an official club event. It’s not something done in private or involves fudging of the score, like Clinton. I have no doubt he shot that score and won it. The only question is whether it was gross or net scoring. Did he shoot 67 or did he shoot 72 gross, 67 net? Either way, that’s some excellent golfing.
