Define history. That is as far as I know mom's side of the family 'tree' and that is because of the lists that are in a duotang from the reunion I found in dad's house after he died.

Dad's side of the family history isn't that clear either. We almost never talked about grandpa, I do believe I was told he was in the army though. I believe uncle Joe being called into the Army in 1943 and serving in Europe until 1947 (I'm using what uncle Lewis submitted to the book of Building and Working Together) created some feelings in family, that wasn't talked about either. I have previously mentioned a copy of a translated carefully crafted letter from Europe written by a distant relative that speaks of their history and lives (Cheryl should see this). What I have been able to piece together shows Mary Weiss (grandma) had a half-sister Elizabeth Poss and their mother was Elizabeth Frommel. There is correspondence between uncle Martin and his daughter Elaine with the sole survivor of the Yohan Poss Family, the youngest son of Elizabeth Poss - nee Frommell in Krickerhau, with knowledge of Ilse and their son.
