Charger,

You may get a variety of opinions on the Sega connection (fact vs fantasy, etc.), but here is what I believe the truth to be:

AGTI has been working on a revolutionary new product with Sega, and the product is called Sonic Bingo. I don't remember the details and I'm too lazy to go back through old press releases, but I think if you look back a year or so ago, you'll see the original announcement. Some people believed the product would debut at the gaming conference in Las Vegas a few months ago, but unfortunately it did not. I'm only guessing, but I would think that AGTI's "cash poor" conditions at the time may have delayed product intro. So far as I know, the relationship with Sega is still alive and Sonic Bingo will eventually be released. When? Beats me.

There have been rumors about a potentially deeper relationship between Sega and AGTI, but I'll reserve those or most assuredly be toasted.....:o)

"Research and development expenses decreased primarily as a result of the efforts of the Company with regards to the development of Sonic Bingo, and enhancements to PARTI-MAX which are nearing completion"

The above is quoted from the SEC 10-QSB dated 9/30/97. The way it is worded reminds me of the way Clinton speaks, you can't be sure just exactly what he meant. Is the company implying that both projects are nearing completion, or that PARTI-MAX is nearing completion and Sonic Bingo has been dropped? I don't know. If anyone does, please tell us. The 4th qtr. 10-QSB report should be out Tue. or Wed. and hopefully will have updated info for us.
