Re <<saola>>

still have not ventured out as the typhoon remained at T9 (T1 heads-up, T3 heads-up / watch this space / get out of the ocean, T8 everyone go home and remain in doors, 9, 10, T12 do not even think about it)

now at 1:38pm from balcony the garden looking fine (helper swept earlier this day's morning), barely perturbed, iow saola appears a nothing-burger / fizzer

jack's weekly piano (yes, he is barely learning the piano) canceled, but 5-times per week fencing this (Saturday) afternoon is full on

Drove out 5-min to pick my mom and in-laws up for traditional Saturday family meal.
Light drizzle, no big deal
Some fallen tree branches on road required slow-speed avoidance.
Otherwise, other than lots of fallen leaves, seems okay.
We lucked out and missed a bullet that had our name on it

All-good
