Any idea why this stock commands lower multiply than the 99 cents stores. This is not a drug company. This is a gas utility or worse.

Hal, I was referring to my overall market strategy; in Q2 1997 I was 100% invested in stocks (position A), a whole bunch of it in Vivus. Did great. Sold out July 15? @ Q2 EPS with 1 bagger. Went back with 30% of position A and sold out @ Q3 EPS Oct 7 ?. I am now down to 13% of position A but ready to go to 25%-45% of it if Vivus goes down furthers. My average price is somewhere between 10 and 13, ( a trade secret, gg )and I am holding long. Zero margin can't tell you how far the down the stock will go. I doubt too far because it is so cheap now that there are a lot of Institutions IMHO that know it's value and will be ready to pounce on it. Also it depends on current Vivus longs sentiment. I think these guys know the facts and are willing to see few weeks ahead. They know that with UK and FDA approval Vivus will be gobbled out of sight. If you wait for that it will be too late to get in. That could happen anytime. That is why I will hold my position and continue to add to it. I traded off a little bit of it at 14 but I will hold the rest and add to it.. Obviously America does not understand that for the pill to work you have to be able to have some erection OF YOUR OWN; the more the better. And Viagra will ENHANCE THAT; NOT CAUSE IT mind you. Just enhance it. So that if your erection is weak to begin with that means you are making very little Nitric acid and so no matter how much Viagra tries to prevent it's degradation, it just will not be enough to give you an erection. So in true organic erection with blown endothelial vasculature and nerves were Nitric Acid is produced, you will just not see much of an effect.People have this idea that they'll pop a pill and have an erection; only in mild to moderate cases. Not in moderate to severe. That's were Vivus will come in. In very severe neither will work .You'll need the injection. For a very large group of patients I think a cocktail will work best. Trazodone at bedtime; then Viagra and buccal Yohimbine. 1 hour before. Then 10 min before, Vivus. Ought to be good maybe for +/- 45 min - 1 hour of sustained erection IMO.Maybe 1 ¬ - 1 « hour , difficult to say.It will depend on the individual. I have a Feb 98 article from Geriatrics out of John Hopkins on all this and i will try and post later. I don't play Vivus calls because I don't think that what is available goes out far enough. I like Newbridge Network $20 Jan 99 Leaps; up 20% so far in 10 days. All in my opinion only. Don't follow my advice but rather do your own research. TA
