RE David Colby--Food and Water--------------------------------------through a bunch of e-mails and finally a phone call, I was begrudgingly allowed to give my point about ozone to Food and Water and was promptly rebuffed for my trouble. They will never adopt any process which messes with their strictly organic philosophy. Having said that, I must also say that in a perfect world, I too believe in much of what they stand for and eat organic foods whenever possible. The key phrase is of course "whenever possible". Of course the problem of food safety for the general population is another matter and ozone is far and away the best alternative. I think David Colby is doing us all a big favor by opposing irradiation even if he gives no alternatives because an alternative will have to be accepted and ozone will be accepted as the best choice. In the meantime Mr.Colby will be a constant bug up irradiation's butt and I say thats's good for us.
