I won't leap to the conclusion that France is doing it wrong in Niger. Some bandits with some hefty numbers have taken over at the point of a gun. Now they are doing Islamic pot banging and screeching. I prefer civilisation and voting and reasoning and maybe subdividing, and of course tradable citizenships. But with Victoria Nuland jumping into the fray, I guess that anything she does is wicked and the opposite of VVVs, so if forced to choose, I'd take the opposite side to Nuland. Mqurice
