Triff, for the past 2 days I have been working on a problem with a cold front up in the Canadian Yukon. This front should be the strongest this season. Now my problem, there are 2 weak fronts that will pass the NE Coast and stall and fizzle out. Now the strong cold front may not be as strong when it passes the east coast hence will make Lee follow more westerly path closer to New England. Now if the front stays strong Lee should be well off the NE coast. The omega block that was stalling systems in the North Atlantic is gone however its possible a new one will form further south close or over Atlantic Canada. Folks in Atlantic Canada should monitor Lee.
Will figure this out over the weekend
