I learned about CBUS10YRSPREAD several months ago. (It is one that got past my radar for years), I am learning to appreciate it as one of a possible “Gold Standard” indicator.

The indicator measures the spread between high yield corporate bonds and the US treasury yields.

From NDW (Nasdaq Dorsey Wright):

An increase in the spread would indicate that investors perceive the credit risk in the corporate bond market to be increasing, while a declining spread would indicate the opposite.


That said, the spread broke downward as indicated on my previous post.
