Beeblebrox, in general I am holding my fire until the mkt stalls or Q1 preannoncement period. This market is ignoring the deterioration in fundamentals so you must allocate your speculative put money so it lasts the entire year. I don't think it will last that long but I did not think we would get as far as we have. Potential candidates Micron always seems like a sure thing based on fundamentals but somehow the stock stays up perhaps a massive loss in Q1 will do the trick. GTW the weak sister in a deteriorating PC mkt( falling asps & margins plus saturation and submerging emerging mkts). INTC so overowned and overloved that there have to be some intelligent shareholders who see the deterioration in their business and will sell. It is a great company just not as great. most semiconductor capital equipment makers due to excess capacity and pending global recession. I would defer to MB because he has more knowledge, experience and $ than me but i would suspect he agrees,in general, with my comments. Mike
