I took a look at UMR after it showed up on a screen for me, and was quite tempted by the high yield and consistent historical payouts. However, you are right, the equity traded as UMR is an "Indonesian Participating Unit" and does expire worthless in September of 1999. With that in mind, I passed, because I didn't want to spend seven quarters (hopefully) getting my initial investment spooned back to me. JMO
