Seth, U.S. IPOs have been hotter than hot so far this year. Out of about 45 IPOs only 2 (by my count) finished their first day lower than the first sale price. Most first sale prices have been significantly higher than initial offer prices and many last sales on first day have been 20% - 50% higher than initial offer prices.
