Has SI stopped allowing copy-pasting images?
I can't paste an image that I copied.

Dear Sun Tzu:

Please refer to the following message:

Message 34418356

The answer is that going forward, if you want to include one or more base64 encoded images in your SI message post, you must first right-click on the image, save it to file, and then use the image icon in the editor to upload that saved image into your message under composition.

Most images on the web are not base64 encoded, so when the image doesn't appear after pasting it during message composition, if you still want to post the image, now you know what to do.

After we clean up our message database of these thousands of base64 encoded images that have been uploaded into the SI message database since 2011, the site performance will be significantly better. Images need to be uploaded to our file server, or deep linked. Not pasted as a gigantic base64 string.

Regards,

@Dima
