Hi Paul,

SBH was on my watchlist, too. Personally, I'd like it to be a little cheaper. I admit I like the financials.
Added to iHeart and Nabors. WBD remains in my portfolio. All three are the more "obvious" value plays I can find.
(Do also have positions in WTI and WWW.)

Was looking at BIG - I don't think it's going to zero but would like to see a valuation sub-$100m before I could buy any shares.

No position in CONN but it's one I'm constantly tempted by. $3.5 seems to be a decent price.

Sold my FOSL shares. Bought at $2 - sold at $2.2. Still cheap Ig (well below liquidation value) but it's one that I want to get rid of as soon as I own it. It's just disgusting and other than "return to normal" I can't see any reason why sales and margins improve.

Scared of dilution re: ICD and there's management are making questionable decisions - do talk a good game, though. No position. Have found myself "trading" the company in the past, though.

QRTEA - well... it's proof that when a company breaks its lows, sell. Will wait a little longer.
Similar thesis with M - except, I suspect the waiting period will be longer. Also worth noting that SBH has broken its lows, too.

Also am looking at UK retail chains - TSCO, SBRY, MKS, HFD, KGF etc. Cheap and fairly valued. However, with inflation, I expect margins to deteriorate and the share price to follow in the next six-to-twelve months. Am remaining patient. This could be one of my my dumber moments, for sure, since they're all "investable."

Best,
Harshu Vyas

P.S -

Members of this board are correct - Sisyphus summed me up perfectly: I don't have any experience (1y), I'm pretentious and I'm arrogant. But, unfortunately, he missed my hamartia - I'm headstrong. (I guess I really do have to always have the last word lol.)

I'm too stubborn and (undoubtedly) think too much of my own abilities so I find myself going against the advice of some members of the thread. I may come across argumentative and petulant. I don't mean to disregard/ insult some of the intelligence of members. In fact, I came here looking for the opposite. I guess I got caught up in my own excitement. It happens a lot with me, unfortunately.

As for some of the words I used last week, I apologise if I offended anyone. I'm embarrassed by my own behaviour and deeply regret lashing out.

Will also stick to posting once a day (if at all) here. Someone kindly informed me my posts bore the thread.

Paul,

Have you taken a look at ULTA? Seems to me that if you are looking for exposure in that space, it could prove the superior investment.

Let us know what you think.

Much obliged,

S
