Last week I watched a compatriot from the north secure 500 troy oz in coin format at cool 1M (3.5% premium over spot) from the bank. She bought in HK to save the 17+% VAT, and seemed happy.

I also watched (I like watching) buddy taking inventory of his bars stack at the government-secured location (and I like bars stacked)

Both watching for first signs of USD collapse, of the sort that would impel USD gold pricing as did in Yen and Euros noted earlier Message 34416445 ala big cups and 'uge handles that make for 50% moves in the up direction, a/k/a gold @ very reasonable 3K, and who knows what silver might do, never mind the miners
