Thank you for putting the India dishoarding "scare tactic" in proper perspective. As long as comex inventory is falling, cry as they may, I will not believe the short-seller's stories.

The value of the Rupee has held up pretty well relative to other Asia currencies over the past few months, having just fallen from 35.87 R/USD on 2/16/97 to 38.55 R/USD on 2/16/98, about a 7.5% loss of value. I think the low was between 40 to 41.
