Great article- this line jumped out at me:

"Looking ahead, Wang said it's likely the company will make a positive pre-announcement about its upcoming quarter "around" the third week of October and the company should get "strong" wins from a number of companies in the next 12 months, including Tesla ( TSLA), xAI (owned by Elon Musk) and customers in the United Arab Emirates.

Imminent?

Hi Julius, we chatted about SMCI a couple of months ago. I'm holding SMCI too, along with NVDA.

SMCI got hit especially hard last week and now the stock is looking weak technically as we head into ER. Do you think there is any fundamental reason for this slide? Fairly or unfairly, it was widely expected that they would pre-announce earnings this past week, like the analyst in that Seeking Alpha article stated, but that didn't happen and the stock sold off.

Do you have any idea why they did not pre-announce as expected?

I think Smci will be fine over next several quarters, but I'm trying to read the tea leaves for this coming earnings report on 11/1. Any insights appreciated!. Thank you!
