This purchase is in short term trading account. I expect to liquidate it in day or two.

Oxford had requested rate increases of 50% to 69.3% in 55,000 individual policies. Governor recognizes this as an industry wide problem. As an election year gesture he has allocated $100MM to subsidize the premium increases. Approval of rate increases is all but certain. IMHO, these policies are still going to be loss leaders for Oxford. Additionally, I read in a Yahoo post that Medicaid section employees in Philadelphia have been asked to look for another job. Medicaid is another loss leader for Oxford.

IMHO, Oxford's downside risk is less than its upside potential. We shall see.
