Thean, thanks for the tip on MDCO (and the short interest information.) I don't have a broker in Hong Kong. There's lots of money to be made here, but not by me. I believe the market here is rigged from top to bottom (as they are everywhere in Asia) and you can make tons of money if you're hooked up, which I manifestly am not. I trade American issues via the internet and Ameritrade.

I think MDCO, like most offshore drillers, will trade with pretty tight correlation with the OSX. The question is, where is the index going? (A side question at this point is, will the strike on Iraq go, and will it spike oil price upward?)
