I keep a backup of my bookmarks handy because they seem to get trashed quite often.

When I was on the 'net last night, I didn't wait quite long enough after closing my browser (Netscape) before disconnecting my line. And, as typically happens when I do that, my bookmarks went to computer-hell. Was glad to have those backups. :)
