You know Mohan regarding the BJP and other parties in India I reference a piece of the article you posted. "Meanwhile, BJP vice-president Jana Krishnamurthy has alleged that the chief minister's provocative election speeches as well as the advertisement released by the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam depicting the Babri Masjid demolition had resulted in the serial blasts".

Flip flop flip. India, 1998. I have this feeling that those who indulge in violence will be taken down by it. And each turn of the wheel will become ever more violent. Those who advocate violence and who profit by violence will be superseeded by ever more violent parties and indiviudals.

I am reminded of Lenin in 1917. Lenin had overthrown a legitimate government(the Duma) in 1917 and in 1918 he was blown up by people even more extreme than himself, by the "radical syndicatalists" as they were called. Lenin eventually succumbed of these wounds.

I hope most passionately that people appreciate that Ghandi had a profound understanding of his people.
