Patrick,

Lets say the DJX is now at 8300 and I start the process by buying the 8300 PUTS since I feel it will go down first. Then the DJX gets to 8100, but I feel it can go lower but not sure, so I buy the 8100 CALLS and the 8300 PUTS are already profitable, so there is no midway at this time. With this situation the only negatives I see is time value deterioation or bad execution,

What should we call this. It is closer to a strangle than a straddle, lets say in-the-money-overlapping-strangle. ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
