Re <<make it a round 10% for ease of calculation and to give a hint of profit after 40% tax then deduct inflationary dilution of 7% leaves Zero profit.>>

... what is the 40% 'tax' all about? :0)))

for the pleasure of travelling using some passport? :0))))))

the correct rate of tax is ... well ... now that I think about it ... zero, nought, goose egg, zilch, bubcus, zip, -0-; a rate that should be quite anti-inflationary, especially when accompanied by 10% deposit rate and 10% dividend rate; higher better, and longer locked-in term more ideal.

Given Freedom HK's peculiarities, zero is what I am used to as long as I am dealing with proper counterparties that be publicly-listed and properly structured private companies, or licensed banks and brokers, which I do.

The good times are here again, soon enough

an update on Xinjiang, China's Middle East

... all controversial should one choose to treat the subject matters so, and arguably arguable, always, but, meaning and, Xinjiang can and does withstand CIA meddling and is NOT-fragile, whilst Israel / Palestine does not and is not, one might argue, and the VLOGs do

In any case, the approaches of seem different

In the meantime, re <<I'm ready for 7% and prefer 8%>>

either we are judged to be unable to withstand 7% or 'they' reckon a pause needed before we can accept more
