rr: large greedy military machine----yes. Last time we were swamped with press reports on Saddam was end of November when Congress was about to close for the year and there were military appropriations bills on the table. The reports just dried up the day after Congress went on vacation. I just looked and sure enough, Congress opened this year the end of January, just about the time the Saddam press reports started coming out again, and sure enough there's more military appropriations stuff on the table. :-(
