Well we had a shitty summer this year in the Northeast if you like hot summer days. I guess Vegas got our lack of heat. Yes urban areas are going to heat up more and hold more heat. But is the "globe" (I think your are a flat earth believer) really warming? When will the ultra rich stop buying ocean front property and when will insures stop insuring them? My daughter is an actuary, she says there is no more premi on ocean front property then in the recent past. Oceans hold hundreds of time more heat then the atmosphere, it's simple thermodynamics. As the oceans hold the heat, temps should rise. So if underwater volcanos that we can't see are erupting then the oceans temps will rise regardless of the current solar cycle.
