That is a pretty big market Bob. The worry of range has a lot to do with the future, solid state batts should solve that issue. Still probably 2 to 3 yrs min out for mass production it appears.

Here in my neighborhood an EV would be possible but probably troublesome, what with the cold. I think between Fairbanks and Anchorage there are charging stations, near the Healy area. Not sure between Fairbanks and Valdez, maps shows none, with none in Vdz. Miles equal 360 either way.

A few years ago they had a big brouha and had an EV caravan travel FT from Fairbanks to Deadhorse. Had to set up diesel gensets on the way.

Quite a few hybrids here, can't remember seeing an EV or Tesla.
