Markets move up and down continuously. Option dealers hedge when the transaction is done.

The only way to tell for sure how accurate max pain really is would be to log it every weekly op ex.

If you say it hit max pain on the day before op ex and that counted as accurate. That's manipulating the data to make it say what you want it to say. It's not max pain until the close of op ex.

At any other time op ex is hit, it's just the normal fluctuations of the market. IMHO
