As for the waves of short sellers mentioned earlier, I remember the waves of short sellers that SPYG took down. First, there were those who shorted at 22 that got caught in the big squeeze to 35 in two days. Then more shorted and the stock went to 60. Eventually, the last batch was right. Even those who originally shorted at 22 would be doing well now if they would have hung on.

This source (which is listed on Peter's page) is not accurate. The reason I say so is that in a recent release, one of the analysts said that AOL had only 40 - 50% institutional support these days and that the individual investor was getting into the act. However, Peter's source says that AOL has 77% insitutional sponsorship still.
