I get 80mbps download in NOLA but I burden my system with VPN and WiFi.

Yes, I use both.

Re <<I am in Louisville, KY. My internet download speed is 35 Mbps>>

Following up to Message 34433377
I am temporarily out of home for the next 6 months.

My wife insisted on MAJOR renovation / rebuild of our 2-levels home / garden.

The coconut's home dance studio is no longer necessary so the Mrs started out designing the post dance studio space downstairs next to my study, and the project mission-creeped to engulf the entire home. She took in ideas from friends and neighbours; lots of ideas, for we have some very creative neighbours originating from all over the world. I appreciate the walk-in / sit-upright Japanese bathtub of Mrs Keiko.

Temporarily without fibre optic connectivity and can only be bothered to live with tethering computer to cellular phone, I took path of next best way, a 5G cellular broadband connection - US$ 21.54 (HK$ 168) per month on 2-years contract. I reckon I can keep the device as precautionary backup for home or office or both.

The gizmo worked first time out of the box flawlessly, just plugged in and linked in.

Not as good as fibre optic widget, but okay, for 24 weeks. I care more about download than upload, and at 389Mbps vs 433Mbps, with unlimited data, good-enough.
