From your links, I found two things to be very interesting:

1) The Rainforest Cafe at the MGM Grand, for example, opened Dec. 18 and has averaged $50,000 in daily revenues. At that rate, the restaurant will generate $18 million in annual revenue. Zarnett lowered his estimate to $16 million, though, because the holiday season may have pumped up early sales at the MGM cafe. The Disney World Rainforest will contribute even more, approximating $35 million yearly, he said.

This makes MGM their number 2 location, right?

and 2) That an MGM movie will contain scenes showing the MGM and RAIN.

Maybe this will help build a brand name that we have discussed so much already....

Dennis thanks for the updates.
What I take away from the links are
don't miss the next quarter/quarters or we are in big trouble.

Let's get rid of some of the mdse and make more room for seating.

Malls aren't the best area to be in vs tourist. We need to have specials etc to attract the locals to keep coming back.

I believe the most important is don't miss another quarter........John

Has anyone been in an FAO Schwartz(sp?) toy store lately? I was in one over the weekend and part of it looked awfully
close to a rain cafe, right down to foliage on the walls & ceilings, an animated gorilla, and even a talking tree. Does
anyone know what kind of copyright / trademark rain has on all of this?
