SDS has just hocked their soul to some Swiss investment guys. I have to ask myself why. They could easily keep going for another year or more without this infusion of cash. The last time I spoke with Paul Slowey, he told me they estimate it will cost 3 to 5 million to get their tests thru the FDA approval process. He also said the FDA has undergone a fundamental change in their feelings about rapid diagnostics. Early detection equals better treatment. Perhaps this new money is to start the FDA filings???
