lets see if majority doesn't rule when they appoint a new speaker...or in anything else the Senate or the House does. The issue is the word democracy is so close to Democrat. It doesn't and Republic has nothing to do with republican. So if you want to use constitutional republic...that's fine but we are that and governed by democratically elected leaders. pLENTY OF COUNTRIES ARE rEPUBLICS..NO BIGGIE
