Yup. Trump is a gambler... it is his nature to gamble big.

The only alternative for such is to actually work and produce something useful to humanity. The Protestant Ethic is a joke to him. Ethics are a joke to him... he sees life as survival of the most ruthless.

And he's almost dead... he sees nothing to lose.

Like Bill said, the fraud trial may cost him monetarily, which Trump can easily afford.

Knowing Trump, though, he will do everything in his power to not pay one cent.

Because like every other instance of him stiffing people he owes, it's not about whether he can afford it.

Instead, it's about whether he feels like fulfilling his financial obligations.
