The Rise and Fall... In the first post Mr. Bean remains optimistic - but then does a complete 180 and becomes very angered at Corel. He remains angered today (and thus his anger towards me for being a Corel cheerleader) - and was the person who first started refering to Dr. Cowpland using the derogatory word "Cowpie" and continues to do so. Where is the BEEF. Those are nice links but where is the software for the NC or for that matter where is that poor lost server. Has Corel finally found that lost server. I was in Las Vegas last year at Comdex 97 and it appears Corel lost its NC server. They keep telling me to come back to the booth and guess what that damm server was nowhere to be found. With all the hyping you are doing it indicates to me that you must have just bought Corel and like Cowpatty you plan to hype them up to make a small killing. There is only one problem. You haven't done your research properly. If you would have you would understand that Cowpatty is famous for hype up the company but can't deliever the BEEF. What makes you so sure he will now? And for that matter what is Cowpatty to do with his poor employees stock options? Reprice them. Don't forget to buy CCC IPO when it comes out. They need the money and it appears you are willing to part with yours. Also listen closely to what Vanni has to say you might learn something. Mike

I am amused that investors put so much anticipation around new products. Who cares when your channel is imploding? Current concerns: 1. Adobe is beating CorelDRAW with Illustrator (check out their Windows growth from last quarter) 2. Cowpland "rumored" to be leaving (maybe not such a bad thing) 3. MS Windows 98 ... WP cannot keep up; there is room for only 2 leader MS and IBM Corel is an excellent opportunity to make money on the downside. Don't be fooled by the short squeeze..... more bad news will come.
