If nothing else, page down to the letter from the CPQ CEO. It looks like Alpha is here to stay, or maybe to grow.

The number was 4000 for NT alone as I understood it. I don't know about UNIX. The above site will let you know which apps. are and are not ported yet. As I've said before, CPQ could change the number dramatically if they pushed a bit.
