Wiseowl,re:"NT & sparc10". You are way behind man. I'm typing this on Ultra-1 and I need faster machine to keep up with my slow typing(kidding, of course). Actually, I don't like the 'ultra-1' on my desk. They are just borrowing my desk top to house the machine. Since the machine is on the 'servers list', sometimes when people running 'ODD jobs' (cpu heavy stuff), my typing actually beat the machine. Since there is more households than corporations, MSFT will continue to make LOAD of money and will catch up with sunw/unix. I think the only thing that is going against MSFT is, surprise to everyone, I think, IS MSFT itself. The unwillingness to open/share market with the world (well, MSFT IS THE WORLD, I guess) will lead to its own destruction. There has been no tyrany last forever and this will not be different this time. NSCP is the first MAJOR casaulty, what's next? NO, please, NOT SUNW. Can we have Monica plead Bill(Gate this time) on her knee and beg the KING for mercy to allow allow sunw and other non-meaningful companies to survive? Isn't 'KING-DOME' in Seatle? Should have known what MSFT was upto when they built that dome.
