hi judy

when is adbe's earnings ? didn't see anything on si tech calendar nor quote.yahoo.com

let's see. adbe's signals were:

daily buy on 1/30/98 @ 38.23
weekly buy last week
2nd component buy last week as well.
1st strong resistance @ 46-47.

my exit points would be the "reverse" of using my entry points. i use the same indicators. basically, my template right now consists of only 3 sets of indicators and a bunch of normal Moving averages (9,21,50,200)

that's about it.. keep it simple eh??

i always plan my trades for a 2 part buy. one small posiiton to "test the waters", and then once rally confirmed and ON PULLBACK, i add the rest in..

im waiting for mkt to pullback some. short-term we are overbought.. however strength of the mkt CAN NEGATE that ob condition..

dell and ??? earnings next week, so that will be interesting.

contrarian opinion right now: everyone is still bearish.. so, that should mean higher prices..

judy

for adbe.. i expect price pattern/movement/rally to be VERY similar to aug 1997 rally.

see how it broke above 200 ma.. boom.. hit the 44 resistance. gave the daily sell signal.. retest the 200 ma and then reattack 44 (and 47 resistance) and breaking above the 47 resistance to test 48-55 trading range..

how's that?

Note on Prsident's Day - The PreHoliday Seasonality data said Friday
should have been up by 12%. It wasn't obviously, and thats the first
time in several years the market didn't perform as expected before a
holiday. Although the market made new highs for the preceeding three
days could have softened the effect. Of course, nowadays its tough
to tell Valentine's Day from President's day....
