Good luck to you too.
I had wanted to buy Microsoft stock for over a year-which is when I got out of the cocacola sara lee mcdonalds frame of mind and went techie. But I kept thinking "its too high" But when I began looking it was 76 and now look-and thats only a year and two months ago. When the second biggest, second on the list of admired companies by the fortune 500 stock can double in a little over a year, thats pretty darn wonderful!!!! I just figured out that if I bought more on margin, in a few years I can sell a couple of hundred shares and pay off the margin and have it "for real". So I did that too-just 100 shares. So on Friday I'll have 300 shares of msft 100 "safe" and 200 "margin account" But the margin account has Fidelity Contrafund in it and thats pretty stable so I should be ok even in a downturn. Now I have to decide if I want to pay the interest each year. Probably yes.
