Has anyone noticed the trend of FAQ's going up at LOR-related web sites? Globalstar now has one, at globalstar.com, LOR has one as well as Cyberstar. I think that they're getting the picture that we want info on these projects and companies. Soon the LOR FAQ may become obsolete, and will be retired.

Heard from LOR IR today regarding timing of ONSI closing. Looks to be on track for end 1Q close, as advertised. IR comments regarding regulatory clearance follow. Incidentally, looks like the spread on ONSI shares vs. the $17.50 exchange value has been eliminated.
Cheers,
Tom

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Loral-Orion transaction.ÿ The
status of the filings are as follows:
- we have cleared Hart, Scott, Rodino;
- we filed with the FCC on 10/16 and are currently awaiting their ruling
on our transfer request;
- we filed an S-4 with the SEC and it has been declared effective (the
Orion shareholder meeting is scheduled for March 20, 1998).
At this time, we anticipate closing the transaction by the end of the
first quarter of this year.
