RE CSCO vs JNPR

Let's see what 18 - 24 months brings. CSCO's growth is LESS than JNPR

2024 earnings growth

CSCO +4.6% vs JNPR +6.3%

(same PE so why not own JNPR?)

Hmmm CSCO No 1? No 1 in what? Market Cap (so what)

Not No 1 in earnings growth

-------------------------------------------------------------

It is very difficult to find a GARP stock growing w/ a growth rate higher than their PE (especially when you are only willing to pay 15x PE)

I will take a 25% gain and 3.2% div after 12-18 months.

FWIW made similar investments in ORCL & IBM 18-24 months ago.

PE's were below 15x

ORCL +55% (from my Buys 18 months ago) - not including 1.3% div
IBM +42% (from my Buys 24 months ago) - not including 4.6% div

Re: Juniper Networks (JNPR) 30.22 +0.31 (+1.04%) 01/08/24 [NYSE]
PRE-MARKET 37.30 +7.08 (+23.43%)

You realize JNPR is the #2 telecom router maker with Cisco being #1? Like, that's awful.
Apparently HPE believes they can make JNPR No. 1 !
