Doren, I think you miss, you just advocated throwing Gazans into the sea. What the right in Israel wants. The more Hamas pursues this war, the more likely that the Israeli right-wing will get their wish. What do I advocate? I advocate letting Israel wage a full-scale war against Hamas. Yes, Gaza will turn into Bakhmut. Hamas knew what they were doing, so we can expect them to be well dug-in, well supplied, and well supported from the outside, including Iran. That means Israel will either have to level Gaza, or eventually negotiate yet another cease-fire with Hamas which essentially gives Hamas the victory. I really don't see Net-n-Yahoo negotiating, and I don't think international pressure to stop the war will be strong enough. By the way, I also don't see any resident of Gaza as naive. They saw things. They knew people. They kept their mouths shut. As a result, Israeli intelligence was taken by complete surprise. If you think Israel won't (or should not) try and make up for that with some brutality of their own, then I hope you have better influence over them than I do. Tenchusatsu
