Feb. 17 TYR.ASE - Diamond Exploration Update

BUFFALO HILLS GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY COMPLETED
Troymin is in receipt of the results from the 27,000 line kilometre high resolution airborne magnetic survey (HRAM) flown over its 100 percent owned 1.1 million acres at Buffalo Hills. A number of magnetic anomalies having kimberlite-like signatures have been identified which are unrelated to obvious cultural features such as the many oilwells and pipelines found in the area.
Of particular interest are the 369,000 acre Bison, the 92,000 acre Trout and the 23,000 acre Jack Pine blocks to the north, east and west respectively of the Ashton discoveries. Several targets have also been identified on the 390,000 acre Muskwa and 180,000 acre Bear Head Blocks to the south. Drill programs by other companies are underway in close proximity to these southern blocks.
To assist in the final selection and prioritization of potential drill targets, geophysical interpretations are continuing, complemented by overburden thickness mapping, aerial and satellite photo reviews and seismic data compilation. This work will be completed prior to commencing ground follow-up operations in the field.
LAC DE GRAS DRILL PROGRAM UNDERWAY
Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. (KCEI) has informed ATW Resources Ltd. (of which Troymin has a net 7 percent carried interest to production from the first mine) that RC drilling has commenced on the ATW property, at MacKay Lake in the Northwest Territories.
The drilling is designed to follow up a prominent indicator mineral anomaly in the till and will consist of a fence of holes drilled perpendicular to the trend of the anomaly. The first batch of samples from the drilling has already arrived at the KCEI laboratory at Thunder Bay for processing.
Depending upon laboratory results, additional drilling may be required to narrow down the location of the source area, at which time a close (75m) space magnetic and EM survey will be conducted for further target definition. Any kimberlite-like targets will be drilled tested with a heli-portable NQ size core rig.
